SUMMARY:Gravitational waves and compact dark matter
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Marc Kamionkowski\, Johns Hopkins University\n\nPart 
	of the HET Seminar Series.\n\nLIGO’s discovery of the merger of two 30-so
	lar-mass black holes led my colleagues and I to consider the possibility th
	at such black holes may make up the dark matter. The coincidence between th
	e rate that such black holes would merge\, if they were the dark matter\, a
	nd the merger rate inferred from LIGO is intriguing. I will discuss these a
	rguments\, the astrophysical constraints to the scenario\, possible steps f
	orward\, and some interesting new astrophysics that this work has taken us 
	into.
