	, Plamen Ivanov\n\nAbstract:\n\nModern financial networks are complicated s
	tructures that can contain multiple types of\nnodes and connections between
	 those nodes. Banks\, governments and even individual people\nweave into an
	 intricate network of debt\, risk correlations and many other forms of inte
	rcon-\nnectedness. We explore the results of the Federal Reserve report "Ba
	nking Organization\nSystemic Risk Report\," which surveys the largest US ba
	nks on their level of interconnect-\nedness\, to develop a network model of
	 these banks with connections based on real data.\nThis network model is th
	en stress-tested under a number of scenarios to determine systemic\nrisks i
	nherent in the network structure. The results of these models are useful as
	 a guideline\nfor new regulatory standards in the banking industry that foc
	us on the health of the entire\nbanking network rather than only of individ
	ual banks.
