SUMMARY:Black Hole Information from Two Dimensional Partition Functions at
	Late Times
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Ethan Dyer\, Stanford\n\nPart of the HET Seminar Seri
es.\n\nI will describe some recent progress in understanding information lo
ss and restoration in two dimensional conformal field theories dual to thre
e dimensional Anti-de Sitter black holes. By introducing a useful observabl
e\, the spectral form factor\, related to an analytic continuation of the t
hermal partition function\, I will discuss whether information restoration
is a dynamical or kinematic property of gravity. I will also discuss certai
n solvable models\, in which the details of information restoration can be
understood as coming from an infinite set of semi-classical saddles.
