SUMMARY:Higgs as a Lamp Post of New Physics
DESCRIPTION:Featuring JiJi Fan\, Syracuse University\n\nPart of the HET Sem
	inar Series.\n\nAbstract:\nThe Higgs boson discovery is a milestone in part
	icle physics. It provides a lamp post for our search of new physics beyond 
	the Standard Model. In this talk\, I will discuss the implications of curre
	nt Higgs measurements for supersymmetry\, in particular\, scalar tops and h
	eavy Higgs bosons. I will also argue that in general a deviation in Higgs c
	ouplings measurable at the LHC would imply a bosonic scale at 10 - 100 TeV.
	 Finally\, I will demonstrate the sensitivities of future Higgs measurement
	s and electroweak precision tests to new physics.​
