SUMMARY:Lattice Radial Quantization: 3D Ising
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Herbert Neuberger\, Rutgers University\n\nPart of the
HET Seminar Series.\n\nAbstract:\n\nLattice radial quantization is a nonpe
rturbative method to numerically\nsolve critical statistical mechanics syst
ems. As an example\, we employ a\nlattice shaped as a cylinder with a 2D Ic
osahedral cross-section to\ndiscretize dilatations in the 3D dimensional cr
itical Ising model. Using\nthis method\, we estimate the critical exponent
	eta of the 3D Ising model\nat 0.034(10).
