	ct:\nAttentional networks in the brain dynamically control cognitive and pe
	rceptual processes tofocus on specific behavioral and/or mental events in o
	rder to make a decision. As we know fromeveryday life\, the resources of at
	tentional processing are finite. Nevertheless\, we often facesituations in 
	which it is necessary to simultaneously process several modalities\, for ex
	ample\, toquickly switch attention from one player to another in a soccer f
	ield. In this talk I will discuss aunified model of attentional control dyn
	amics. This model is based on sequential informationprocessing stability co
	nditions that are realized through nonsymmetric inhibition in attentionalne
	tworks. In particular\, we analyze the dynamics of attentional switching an
	d focus in the caseof parallel processing of three interacting mental modal
	ities. Using global excitatory-inhibitorynetworks as a model\, we investiga
	te how the bifurcations between different attentional top-downcontrol strat
	egies depend on the environment and/or the mental stimuli. We also discuss 
	therelationship between attention and decision making: in this context\, a 
	decision making process isa controllable bifurcation of a specific attentio
	n strategy. Finally\, we suggest the dynamicalevaluation of attentional res
	ources in neural sequence processing.
