bstract: Lennard-Jones potential is a widely used approximation to describe
interaction between molecules. The mathematical form of Lennard Jones pote
ntial shows that it is a short range interaction. However\, recent research
es found evidences of pseudo-spinodal nucleation in Liquid-Solid phase tran
sition in Lennard-Jones dense liquid\, which implies there is an effective
long range interaction in those systems. In searching for numerical evidenc
e of long range interaction in Lennard-Jones systems\, we used damage algor
ithm. We found that in Ising model\, speed of damage propagation is proport
ional to interaction range\, while in Lenard-Jones systems\, despite the ba
re interaction is of the same form\, the damage propagation speed is propor
tional to density of particles. This implies that in Lennard-Jones systems
the density has positive correlation with interaction range.\n\nExamining C
