Denny Hamill got his PhD in Physics at BU in 1969; since then his technology involvements have been varied. He has held technical, marketing and business management positions in both large and small companies. He has taught in a business school and he oversees an industrial research consortium. He will discuss some of these roles with snapshots of the technologies involved including; specialty semiconductors, global facsimile standards, telecommunications infrastructure, electronic systems design and manufacture, novel nanoparticle fabrication and nano-energetic materials. Denny will discuss BU Physics preparation for and decisions made within this varied career path.
